Our Members and Sponsors
The Buzz Club couldn't continue without our dedicated volunteers. We increased our membership by 27% this year to over 1050 members!
As a non-profit, we rely hugely on your generosity and support to continue our work. Our sponsor ship has grown by 34%. We now have over 300 sponsors - thanks to all of you.
Buzz Club Events
This year we ran and took part in 19 events! These included our webinars, our in-person events and local outreach fayres. Thanks to everyone who attended. This year we have worked with Wakehurst; Wild About Gardens; Wildlife Community; The Biological Recording Company; Weald to Waves; Plumpton College; ecoActive; Glaswelltir Ceredigion Grassland; Gardens of Easton Lodge and more!
Projects
- 597 people signed up to The Big Bee Hotel Experiment, making it our most popular project for the second year running!
- Hoverfly Lagoons had a record number of participants - 263 volunteers this year.
- 181 have registered for our Bug Bunkers project
- 237 of you were trained to ID butterflies and hoverflies to species in the Insect ID Quiz.
